Since 17.02.1939 a law fixes a special Profession in Germany, that allowed Therapists after being examined, to work with Clients in the first line option. So no prescription is needed by a doctor.

There are specialized Insurances covering the costs. If you have no Insurance, you can pay cash or by privat bill.
